Thoughts
To her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, a heartfelt thank you for example and service to all and a particular thank you for being the Patron of Goodneough and all it stands for. I will always keep the fondest memories of the 2001 visit, having the pleasure to contribute to singing in the welcome choir and the opportunity to listen to her address to the College in the Great Hall, may she rest in peace.

I was deeply saddened by the announcement of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth's. I reflect about the late Queen's past. Her love, strength and consistency guiding the United Kingdom, the Common Wealth through troubled times. She is looked up on by all the world. Her legacy will live on in her successors. My prayers are with the Royal Family for comfort and strength at this time.

The Queen was all that was good, her loyalty and dedication to duty, her love of the simple pleasures of life and her family {not forgetting the horses}. She showed warmth and affection to all who met her combined with a sense of humour. She was beautiful in every way and will be remembered as the kind of person we should aspire to emulate. She must certainly have gone to a better place to be with those she loved. God bless her.

We are very saddened by the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. She was a beacon of consistency and constancy in a fast-changing world. We pray that God grants her eternal peace and rest with Him. We will be forever grateful for her example of duty and service to others.
