Dr Uta Protz, William Goodenough House, 1997-1999 & 2003-2005

My thoughts are with the Royal Family at this very sad time, and I would like to offer my sincere condolences. For as long as I can remember, Her Majesty was there – in good as well as bad times. It is still hard to comprehend that she has passed away: I will miss her for her dignity, strong moral compass, and commitment to the common good and public service, but also for her exemplary support of the arts and crafts. A patron of Goodenough College for almost 70 years, Her Majesty’s international outlook inspired generations of students and allowed for friendships to flourish around the world: we are indebted to her in thanks.
